Bucharest (Bucuresti in Romanian) is the capital of Romania. It's between the Danubio banks and the south part of Carpazi Mountain, and it's the cultural and economic centre of Romania, with Bucharest capital (1861). At the biginning of the twentieth century the city is lighted with electric bulbs and with oil-lamps.

In 1904 the public transport service use eletric machines. During the thirties there is such an important economic and cultural growth of the city that it was called "Little Paris". After second world war, Bucharest has grown in architecture: a big project gave the city an even architecture that up to today is dintinguished.
